[What is Assad?]

This is a dish from the Pampas (grasslands) of Argentina, where gauchos (cowboys) grill meat in a hearty style.

The meat is seasoned with Andean rock salt and slowly grilled over charcoal in a special grill called a parisha, which is dedicated to asado.

Because the excess fat is removed, you can enjoy the true flavor of the meat.

Asado is an Argentine identity, and is loved by people all over the world.

Asado is such a popular dish that it's practically synonymous with Argentina.
